Max Fried Golf outing honoree
Max Fried, a legend in the business and President of the MPC in 1956-57 and in 1965, was instrumental in creating the Motion Picture Bookers Club. Max was a dedicated member and loved to lead the group's parties and events, with the proceeds benefitting charity. Every year, we honor his legacy at the Max Fried Golf Outing.
William R. Thompson Lifetime Achievement Award
Bill Thompson, an industry legend and esteemed MPC Board Member, had an incredible 50-year journey in the film business! As an educator and a leader, he made a significant impact through his philanthropic efforts. His legacy and vibrant spirit will always be cherished, and we are dedicated to honoring his memory through the William R. Thompson Lifetime Award.
